Why we do the light touch massage: - To release endorphins which are natural hormones when it comes to reducing sensations and our perception of pain. - The release of endorphins by the nerves inhibits some or all of the pain messages going up to the brain. - For many women, endorphins will also positively alter the memory of their birth experience and in some cases induce an amnesic, dreamy effect. - If you are exploring natural ways to induce labor, you may also try the light touch massage. Similar as nipple stimulation (and in combination with it), the light touch massage he Technique: - Find a comfortable position to sit with your back facing your partner, or lie down on your side with your back towards your partner. - Your partner is using his/her finger tips to gently form a series of V shapes from the base of your spine up your neck, ears and down your arms. And then back. - Then form a series of S shapes from the base of your spine up again to your neck, ears and down your arms. - Repeat it a couple of times. - Always with very light touch, no pressure on finger tips. - It works better skin to skin, so if you can have your back naked or only in your bra you may feel more goosebumps

To secure your spot, please pay your Mamamoon participant's fee in full. If you have to cancel your attendance up to 4 weeks in advance, we will charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the retreat fee. If you have to cancel your attendance 4 weeks or less in advance, no refund can be granted.
