PARENTING THE PARENT

On organized attachment and how healing the parent can bring in harmony and regulation to our children and family as a new system.

Adults, we have all grown up in a system where our identity is forged by what we hold ourselves accountable to do and achieve. Success is the outcome of getting somewhere else, better/higher/bigger than where you started from. We gain experience in hiding our weaknesses and we pride ourselves of our determination for more. But when we transition into parenthood, we feel lost and in overwhelm. Lovers forget what connected them on the first place and the dreams that were once about creating a life together become centred around the life they each left behind.
