Lisanne used to live in Amsterdam until the age of 28 with a nice home, good relationship and a career at a creative start-up. Due to a burn out she was forced to live her life differently, dedicated to feel at home in herself again, she took off on an inner journey for which she wanted to leave everything behind and travel around for awhile, eventually finding her home base in Portugal where she lives now already for 5 years.

Through the teachings of Yoga and Ayurveda, she realised there were a lot of emotions held and stored in her root and by giving her root more loving care and attention she started to feel more at ease, freeing her root from tension and stagnation. This curiosity naturally led her after her Yoga teacher training into Ayurveda and later Pre- and Postnatal Yoga and Pelvic Yoga. She loves the depth of the work with pregnant women and mothers, as it is such a powerful transformation to witness and support with lots of raw and pure emotions. She shares in a gentle and loving embrace the power of journeying into the root and understanding our pelvis on a deeper level.

Kasia met Lisanne through Anne - the two of them did postnatal yoga trainings together, and have stayed in contact ever since. In search for women who are passionate about supporting other women in their transformation towards motherhood, Anne immediately put Lisanne and Kasia in contact and it just felt right.

PELVIC YOGA

In this introduction to Pelvic Yoga, you will gain awareness of your pelvis and discover if you are holding tension in your pelvis or having tightness somewhere. Every women’s pelvic is unique and rarely is completely in balance. A part of the pelvis can be tight and short, another side can be too loose. You will be guided with awareness exercises to self explore your pelvis by discovering the places where you hold tension and where you can feel a release happening. If you feel inspired to go deeper, there is a course of 5 classes. Check here for the next dates of the course.

This class is suitable for all women, whether you are pregnant or postpartum or non of these, just an interest in exploring your pelvis.
